The Wings 2 Water project is a fundraising platform for water quality projects in Linn and Johnson Counties, initiated by the Eastern Iowa Airport (CID), kicked off October 16th, 2019, one of the projects that it will help fund is the Kent Park Lake Restoration Project.

Great news! IIHR - Hydroscience & Engineering received two U.S. Environmental Protection Agency Gulf of Mexico program grants totaling near $2 million! Funds will be used to install nutrient reduction practices in the Clear Creek and Middle Cedar River watersheds. This effort is led by Professor Craig Just and local partners.  Here is a link to the news release.

The University of Iowa, IIHR—Hydroscience & Engineering, and the Iowa Flood Center will host the  8th International Conference on Flood Management: Lowering Risk by Increasing Resilience. The conference will be held August 17-19, 2020 in Iowa City, Iowa on The University of Iowa campus.
